The film grew about 14 per cent from Monday’s ₹5.31 crore collection. Its total India net collection now stands at ₹46.04 crore, with a worldwide gross of about ₹58.83 crore. The film opened on September 25 with ₹8.12 crore and saw its weekend peak at ₹15.1 crore on Sunday. The weekday hold is being seen as a positive sign ahead of the arrival of Drishyam: The Conclusion on October 2. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film is made on an estimated budget of ₹80 crore. Trade analysts will be watching whether it can sustain momentum into its second weekend. Context: The film’s Bihar setting and Chhath Puja connection have helped it find an audience in the heartland. The film faces its first major test this Friday when Drishyam: The Conclusion arrives in cinemas.
