India Energy Week 2027 will be bigger than ever, with around 17,000 square metres of exhibition space already booked. Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri shared the figure at a curtain-raiser event in Kolkata.
The booking has come nearly five months before the event, showing strong industry interest. The theme for the 2027 edition is ‘Unlocking Innovation, Securing Energy, and Shaping Tomorrow’.
The fifth edition will be held from January 28 to 31, 2027, at the New Town Convention Centre in Kolkata. It is the first time the flagship event is coming to eastern India.
Puri said the platform has grown fast. The 2023 edition had 35,000 participants and 326 exhibitors, while the 2026 edition in Goa drew 75,000 participants, 700 exhibitors and delegates from over 120 countries.
The event will cover oil and gas, LNG, hydrogen, biofuels, renewables and artificial intelligence. Global CEOs, policymakers and investors are expected to attend.
