Bo Nix produced another fourth-quarter comeback as the Denver Broncos beat the Los Angeles Rams 30-26 on Sunday Night Football, scoring 23 second-half points after being shut out before the break.

Nix threw two touchdown passes after halftime and added a score on a quarterback sneak, extending his run as the NFL’s most clutch young quarterback – nine game-winning drives since last season, the most in the league.

Safety Talanoa Hufanga delivered the defensive highlight with two interceptions, including a pick-six Sean Payton called the play of the game, against Matthew Stafford, who threw for 390 yards. A controversial pass-interference flag on Josh Wallace late drew Rams coach Sean McVay’s ire – he ducked out of his postgame press conference.

The Broncos’ offence had managed just 21 plays in the first half, but the win marked their second straight comeback from a double-digit deficit after beating Jacksonville in Week 2. Both Denver and Los Angeles reached their conference championships in 2025, and Sunday’s thriller felt like a Super Bowl preview to many fans.
