UAE signals extra 25 billion dollar investment in India

The United Arab Emirates has signalled an additional 25 billion dollars of investment in India, with energy and trade ties set for a major expansion. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal shared the development as part of India’s latest investment push.
The fresh commitment would deepen an already strong economic partnership. Energy cooperation is expected to be a central pillar, alongside wider trade and investment flows between the two countries.
India has been working to position itself as a top destination for Gulf capital. The UAE is already among India’s largest investors and trading partners, and the new signal points to a further scaling up of that relationship.
Officials say the expanded ties will cover multiple sectors. More details on the sectors and timelines are expected as both governments take the discussions forward.
The announcement fits a wider pattern of Gulf investment into Indian infrastructure, energy and technology. Both countries have been working to double bilateral trade and deepen cooperation in clean energy and food security. Officials on both sides say the expanded partnership will create jobs and strengthen supply chains. The coming months will show how quickly the signalled investment turns into concrete projects on the ground.
