Kunal Khemu and Preity Zinta’s action thriller comedy Vibe collected around 20 lakh rupees on its second Monday, taking its India net total to 13.75 crore rupees. The film registered about 14 per cent occupancy across 519 shows on September 28, with the Hindi 2D version hovering near 12 per cent.

Vibe had opened to 11.25 crore rupees in its first week, with collections of 50 lakh rupees on Friday, 90 lakh rupees on Saturday and 90 lakh rupees on Sunday in its second weekend. The gross collection now stands at 16.40 crore rupees.

The film has been positioned as a mid-budget commercial entertainer, and its second-weekend hold suggests steady word of mouth in urban centres. Trade observers will be watching whether the film can sustain its run into the second half of the week. It remains at number ten on the current advance-booking charts, with about 1.37 lakh rupees in advance sales for the coming days.
