All Elite Wrestling announced the death of Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac, at age 40, on Sunday — just one day after he wrestled at AEW All Out in Chicago, according to CNN. He had challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship. No cause of death has been disclosed.

Satterley, a Newcastle upon Tyne native who began wrestling in 2004, signed with AEW in 2019. He held multiple AEW championships, including the inaugural All-Atlantic title in 2022 and the World Trios Championship with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta at Wembley Stadium in 2024. He previously wrestled in WWE as Neville — an NXT Champion and two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Tributes poured in from across wrestling. AEW President Tony Khan said Satterley "defined excellence" as a beloved husband, friend and athlete. Will Ospreay called him "the greatest export from our country," and WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman called him "a tremendous talent and even finer human being."

The wrestling world mourns one of its most gifted high-flyers, with details on the cause of death not yet announced.
