UPSC Advt 12/2026: 13 Group A/B posts open Sept 26-Oct 16
UPSC has opened applications for 13 Group A and Group B posts under Advertisement No. 12/2026. The window runs from September 26 to October 16, 2026, closing at 6:00 PM on upsconline.nic.in.
Eight posts are Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade IV) in the Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice. Three are Law Officer posts in Delhi’s Land and Building Department.
The remaining posts are one Junior Technical Officer (Sugar Technology) at the National Sugar Institute in Kanpur and one Specialist Grade II (Cardiology) at NDMC. Pay ranges from Level 7 to Level 11 of the 7th CPC.
The application fee is ₹25, payable online, with exemptions for women, SC, ST and PwBD candidates. This is recruitment by selection, not the Civil Services Examination. Candidates face shortlisting or a recruitment test, plus an interview.
