A promotional video by the Afghanistan Cricket Board for the upcoming India-Afghanistan T20I series has triggered a diplomatic row with Pakistan. The map shown in the video appeared to place Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan within India's outline.

The ACB posted the promo on its official X account on September 6, ahead of the three-match series in New Delhi. The video first lit up the Balochistan region before moving to the Indian side, media reports said.

According to CNN-News18, the Pakistan Cricket Board raised its concerns about the map depiction with Pakistan's Foreign Office. The exact nature of the PCB's concerns was not immediately clear.

The row adds to already strained ties between Kabul and Islamabad. The two countries are locked in border and security disputes, with multiple clashes and airstrikes reported across the frontier in recent months.

Islamabad could consider raising the matter at an international level, reports said, though no formal move has been announced so far.
