LA Galaxy fought back from two goals down to beat the Colorado Rapids 3-2 on Saturday night, while Seattle Sounders' 3-1 win over Minnesota United gave coach Brian Schmetzer his 150th MLS victory.

Colorado led 2-0 at half-time, with Paxten Aaronson doubling the lead in the 39th minute. The Galaxy responded after the break: a 53rd-minute strike, Joao Klauss's equaliser in the 66th, and the winner in the 74th minute sealed the comeback.

In Seattle, Jordan Morris, Hassani Dotson and Paul Arriola scored in the 3-1 win. Minnesota briefly cut the gap through Anthony Markanich in the 57th minute, but Arriola restored the cushion in the 83rd. Seattle extended its unbeaten run to seven and moved back into the Western Conference playoff picture.

Schmetzer became only the ninth coach in MLS history to reach 150 league wins. Minnesota ended September without a win in five matches. Seattle next hosts Sporting Kansas City, while Minnesota hosts Houston on October 10.
