Baloda’s Record 14-Wicket Haul Seals India U-19 Series Sweep

Haryana left-arm spinner Tanmay Baloda became the first bowler to take 14 wickets in a Youth Test, powering India Under-19 to a 10-wicket win over Australia in Ahmedabad.
Baloda returned match figures of 14 for 73, with 6 for 32 in the first innings and 8 for 41 in the second, breaking Tim Southee's record of 12 for 92 set in 2007.
Australia were bowled out for 174 and 151. Set 11 to win, India knocked off the target in five balls.
India had taken a 141-run first-innings lead through half-centuries from Yashbardhan Chauhan and wicketkeeper Abhipray Biswas.
The win completed a 2-0 sweep of the two-match four-day series, following India's innings victory in Rajkot. India had earlier swept the one-day series 3-0.
Baloda joined the squad as a replacement in September and broke the Indian Youth Test record of 12 for 122 held by S Vidyut.
