India Take On West Indies in 2nd T20I at Ranchi Tonight
India will face West Indies in the second T20I of the five-match series at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi on Friday. The match starts at 7 pm IST, with the toss at 6.30 pm.
India lead the series 1-0 after an eight-wicket win in Lucknow. West Indies posted 171, but India chased it down with 32 balls to spare. Captain Shreyas Iyer scored an unbeaten 102 off 43 balls, while Naman Dhir took three wickets.
India are expected to field an unchanged side, continuing to back debutant Naman Dhir. West Indies face selection questions in their fast-bowling attack after an expensive outing in the opener.
The probable Indian XI includes Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav and Mayank Yadav.
The match will be broadcast on the Star Sports Network and streamed live on JioHotstar. A win for the hosts would seal the series with three games still to play, while the visitors must win to stay alive.
