Pollard joins Joburg Super Kings in R1.5 million SA20 deal

Kieron Pollard has signed for the Joburg Super Kings in the SA20 Season 5 auction.
The West Indies all-rounder went for R1.5 million in Johannesburg on 7 October.
He was signed unopposed at his base price.
Pollard, 39, previously played for MI Cape Town in SA20. He was released before the 2027 auction.
He is the all-time leading run-scorer in men's T20 history.
He is one run short of 15,000 T20 runs.
The Super Kings also brought back Faf du Plessis for R2.7 million.
They signed teenager Jason Rowles for R2.9 million. It was the biggest bid of the auction.
Rowles, 18, topped South Africa's run charts at this year's U19 World Cup. He made 280 runs in five innings.
He hit a Youth Test double-century against England in July.
The Super Kings also picked up Blessing Muzarabani, Dayyaan Galiem and Andries Gous.
Other big moves saw MI Cape Town take Wiaan Mulder for R2.6 million and Shimron Hetmyer for R1.5 million.
Pretoria Capitals signed Temba Bavuma and Rassie van der Dussen.
The tournament runs in January 2027.
