Motorola is expanding its Qira AI assistant to more devices with the Android 17 update.

Select phones across the Signature, Razr and Edge lineups are confirmed to get Qira after updating to Android 17. Qira debuted on the Edge 70 Max earlier this year.

Qira can be activated by saying ‘Hey Qira,’ pressing a dedicated AI key or using on-screen shortcuts. It works across Motorola phones, tablets, watches and Lenovo PCs.

The assistant has features called Catch Me Up, which summarises notifications and messages, and Pay Attention, which records and summarises meetings.

It also has Creator Zone and Style Sync tools that generate wallpapers, stickers and avatars. Qira can search third-party apps and complete tasks when given permission.

The rollout is gradual and timing varies by device and market. Lenovo also confirmed Qira is coming to the moto watch ultra, its first wearable with the assistant.
