Dhurandhar 2 has emerged as the biggest box office winner of 2026, topping the year's most profitable Bollywood films chart.

The film collected about Rs 1,186.32 crore in its lifetime against a budget of Rs 225 crore, according to trade data compiled by Koimoi. That leaves a profit of roughly Rs 961 crore, a return of over 427 per cent.

Another trade tracker put the film's net collection at Rs 1,048.85 crore across all languages, with the Hindi version alone contributing Rs 986.45 crore. Both trackers declare it an all-time blockbuster.

The most profitable film by return on investment was the small-budget Hanuman Ansh. Made for just Rs 1.8 crore, it earned Rs 326.48 crore, a staggering return of over 18,000 per cent.

Awarapan 2, Mirzapur: The Movie and Mahavatar Narsimha also feature among the year's most profitable releases. Several big-budget films, including Alpha and Cocktail 2, were declared flops.

The list shows that franchise films and low-cost surprises, not star-driven spectacles, defined Bollywood's box office in 2026.
