Drishyam 3 opens at Rs 66.75 cr, 2nd-biggest Hindi opener of 2026

Ajay Devgn's Drishyam: The Conclusion has stormed the box office with a Rs 66.75 crore opening day, the second-biggest Hindi opener of 2026, according to Variety India.
The crime thriller, which released on the Gandhi Jayanti holiday on October 2, trails only Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge this year. It is also Ajay Devgn's biggest opener ever, beating Singham Again's Rs 43.50 crore by a wide margin.
Bollywood Hungama's trade data put the day-one figure at Rs 62.03 crore, still the second-highest Hindi opening of the year. Trade figures often vary between trackers in the first reports.
The film added about Rs 53.50 crore on Saturday, crossing Rs 100 crore in two days. It beat Drishyam 2's entire opening weekend collection of Rs 64.14 crore within two days.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is the concluding chapter of the franchise. Unlike the first two parts, it features an original story not linked to the Malayalam series. The cast includes Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Saran and Prakash Raj.
Trade analysts expect the film to cross Rs 175 crore over its opening weekend, putting it on course for blockbuster status.
