The price shows as zero rupees for the first month. Users need an Indian billing address or verified phone number. OpenAI checks account-region details. The checkout still requires payment details. Cards, net banking and UPI are accepted options. Promotional subscriptions can renew as paid plans after the free month. Users must cancel before renewal to avoid charges. In testing, the offer appeared on accounts that never had a paid plan. Accounts that previously subscribed to ChatGPT Go did not see it. Users should check the terms shown during checkout.
