No. 4 Miami routs Clemson 41-13; Swinney under fire

No. 4 Miami crushed Clemson 41-13 on Saturday in a result that will intensify the pressure on Tigers coach Dabo Swinney.
The Hurricanes were dominant on both sides of the ball. Clemson's offence never found rhythm, and a controversial overturned fumble return touchdown went against the Tigers.
Swinney was blunt afterwards. He said his team did not get a lot of help, a remark aimed at his own staff as much as the officials.
Clemson's season is in danger of unravelling. The Tigers were preseason contenders but have now taken a second heavy defeat.
Miami, by contrast, looks like a genuine playoff threat. The Hurricanes' defence has been suffocating, and the offence is piling up points.
The ACC race is taking shape. Miami sits in the driver's seat while Clemson faces a fight just to stay relevant.
Miami's defence has not allowed more than 17 points in any game this season. Clemson must now win its remaining games to have any realistic hope of reaching the ACC title game.
