A fire broke out at Mumbai's Film City on Monday outside the sets of Pati Patni Aur Panga 2 and MTV Hustle 5, with thick black smoke seen rising from the area. Both teams confirmed there were no casualties.

The Pati Patni Aur Panga 2 team told Hindustan Times that no shooting was underway on their set when the fire occurred. "Yes, there was a fire outside the sets. There is no casualty. Nobody was shooting at the set of Pati Patni Aur Panga," the team said.

The situation was different for MTV Hustle 5, where the reality show's grand finale was being filmed when the blaze erupted. "All the artists were there. The fire happened suddenly. As of now, there are no casualties and everyone's safe," the team said. Artists on the season include Badshah, EPR, MC Square, Paradox and Agsy.

Initial speculation that the fire had reached the sets of Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana was found to be incorrect, according to India Forums. The cause of the fire was not confirmed as of Monday evening.
