Yamal Scores Again as Spain Beat Czechia 3-1

Spain beat Czechia 3-1 in the Nations League on Saturday, with Lamine Yamal scoring another early goal.
Yamal opened the scoring in the sixth minute at Oviedo. The 19-year-old cut in from the right and curled a left-footed shot into the top corner.
It continued his run of early goals. He had scored in the second minute against Croatia on Tuesday and in the second minute against England on September 26.
Coach Luis de la Fuente made nine changes from the Croatia game. Rodri doubled Spain’s lead in the 35th minute after Pedri had been denied by goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky.
Czechia fought back after the break. Jiri Slama drilled a low shot past David Raya to make it 2-1.
Raya survived a scare when he dropped a ball and Ryan Naderi scored, but the goal was ruled out for a foul on Robin Le Normand.
Substitute Mikel Merino sealed the win late. Spain have now gone 40 games unbeaten.
The victory was Spain’s third straight in the Nations League. They stay three points ahead of England at the top of their group.
