KL Rahul’s unbeaten 129 powers India to 351 against West Indies

KL Rahul produced his career-best ODI score of 129 not out as India posted 351 for 7 in the third ODI against the West Indies in New Chandigarh on Saturday.
Rahul faced 87 balls for his ninth ODI hundred. He smashed 42 runs off the final 12 balls he faced, turning a strong total into a commanding one.
India had slipped to 4 for 2 early. Rohit Sharma, who scored 92, and Ruturaj Gaikwad, who made 57, rebuilt with a 137-run stand before Rahul took over.
The West Indies chased down the target with 10 balls to spare. Captain Shai Hope led from the front with an unbeaten 162 off 143 balls, one of the great ODI innings.
Amir Jangoo made 67 as the visitors reached their target with five wickets in hand. The win denied India a 3-0 series sweep.
India had already sealed the series by winning the first two matches, including a record chase of 406 in the second game. The Shubman Gill-led side still took the series 2-1.
