Jailer 2 trailer to release on October 5, confirms studio
The trailer of Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 will be unveiled on October 5, just ten days before the film’s theatrical release, Sun Pictures has confirmed.
Rajinikanth returns as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film releases on October 15 in standard and IMAX formats, according to Wikipedia’s film page.
The cast includes S. J. Suryah, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Vijay Sethupathi, alongside returning actors Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu and Shivarajkumar. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music, with singles including “One Name”, a tribute to Rajinikanth’s 50 years in cinema.
The trailer will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, giving fans across major markets a glimpse of the sequel, TrackTollywood reported. A new poster featuring Rajinikanth’s character accompanied the announcement.
The stakes are high. With the original Jailer setting huge expectations, the trailer will set the tone for the film’s crucial final promotional push.
