Bumrah plays his 100th T20I for India in Asian Games final

Jasprit Bumrah played his 100th Twenty20 international for India on Saturday. The landmark came in the Asian Games 2026 men’s cricket final against Pakistan in Nisshin.
Bumrah is one of the rare fast bowlers to reach a century of T20I caps. He is widely seen as one of the best bowlers in the world across formats.
His 99th appearance came two days earlier in the semifinal against Sri Lanka. In that match, he became the first Indian to play T20I cricket in 13 different countries.
The milestone arrived on a big occasion. India were defending their Asian Games gold against Pakistan in the final at the Korogi Sports Park.
Bumrah’s team celebrated the achievement. The Board of Control for Cricket in India and his Indian Premier League franchise marked the century of caps on social media.
Fans call him the yorker specialist. His calm death bowling has won India many close matches. Reaching 100 T20Is puts him in an elite club of Indian cricketers.
