Gigabyte launches 64GB AI TOP ATOM desktop AI box

Gigabyte has launched a new 64GB unified memory version of its AI TOP ATOM, a compact desktop machine for AI development.
The new configuration expands the existing lineup, which included a 128GB model. It is based on the NVIDIA DGX Spark platform and will be available from October 23.
The machine is aimed at developers, researchers and enterprise teams who want to run AI models locally instead of relying on cloud services. Running models on premises gives teams more control over data.
Gigabyte says the compact desktop form factor suits offices, laboratories and educational environments. Users can do model inference, prototype development and data analysis on the device.
With built-in ConnectX-7 networking, developers can link up to four units with NVIDIA Sync to build a larger shared memory pool and compute capacity.
The launch comes as generative AI and agentic AI applications grow. Model testing, data processing and application validation are becoming part of everyday development workflows.
