Haryana CM to visit Singapore to court investors

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will visit Singapore from October 4 to 6 to seek investment and industrial cooperation.
An official statement said the visit aims to explore opportunities in investment, industrial cooperation, technological partnerships and skill development between Haryana and Singapore.
Saini will be accompanied by senior officials from the Chief Minister’s Office and the Industries and Commerce Department. The delegation will present Haryana’s policies, projects and investment facilities to investors and institutions.
Key sectors on the agenda include logistics, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, agro and food processing, Global Capability Centres, aviation and education.
The chief minister will take part in round-table conferences with industry groups, investors and sector experts.
A year ago, Saini led a similar delegation to Japan to attract foreign investment. The state wants to position itself as an investor-friendly and innovation-driven industrial destination.
Why it matters: the trip is part of Haryana’s push to win global capital in high-value sectors like semiconductors and advanced manufacturing.
