India vs West Indies 3rd ODI: Gill Eyes Clean Sweep in Mullanpur
India will chase a 3-0 series sweep when they face the West Indies in the third and final ODI on October 3 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh.
The match starts at 2 PM IST and marks the venue's first-ever ODI. Mullanpur is the only Indian stadium yet to host an international game in 2026.
India sealed the series in Guwahati with one of the greatest chases in ODI history. West Indies posted 405, but India hunted the target down, winning by seven wickets with 14 balls to spare. Shubman Gill led the chase with an unbeaten 223, one of the highest individual scores in the format.
India face selection questions ahead of the final. Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out with a hamstring niggle, and Anshul Kamboj has been added to the squad as cover. Mohammed Siraj, rested earlier in the series, is expected to return.
West Indies, meanwhile, will look to salvage pride after their record total proved insufficient. Their bowlers struggled to contain India's chase in Guwahati.
A clean sweep would cap a dominant home series for India.
