Nvidia’s RTX Spark PCs Promise Local AI Power From October

Nvidia has confirmed that the first laptops and desktops powered by its RTX Spark processors will be available from October, marking the company’s big bet on PCs that run artificial intelligence locally.
The RTX Spark platform combines a 20-core Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU offering 6,144 CUDA cores and up to 1 petaflop of AI performance. Systems can carry up to 128GB of unified memory and run AI models with up to 120 billion parameters without an internet connection.
Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and MSI are among the manufacturers preparing RTX Spark systems. Lenovo showcased the Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 at IFA 2026, while Acer has shown a compact desktop design.
Nvidia said the hardware will support background AI agents through its Windows Agent framework, with controls built into the operating system. Game publishers including Electronic Arts and Ubisoft have announced support.
Local AI shifts processing from cloud servers to the device itself, which can reduce delay, improve privacy and let some features work offline.
