Jason Sanjay’s ‘Sigma’ cleared for October 2 release

Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut Sigma has been cleared by the censor board ahead of its worldwide release on October 2.
The Sundeep Kishan-starrer received a U/A 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. The film has a runtime of about two hours and 20 minutes.
Jason Sanjay is the son of actor-politician Vijay. The makers say the film will let him define his own narrative outside his family’s influence.
Produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions, Sigma is an action-adventure heist comedy. It follows a treasure hunter drawn into a Rs 500 crore operation involving drugs and gambling.
Faria Abdullah plays the female lead opposite Sundeep Kishan. The supporting cast includes Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj and Shiv Panditt. Thaman S has composed the music.
The film will release in Tamil and Telugu. It was earlier scheduled for July 31 but was pushed back, with makers wanting to avoid a clash with other big releases.
