Five Hindi films head to theatres this busy October

October is one of the busiest months at the box office, with five Hindi films arriving in theatres through the festive season.
Prem Keetanu opened the month on October 2. The college comedy stars Veer Pahariya and Aparshakti Khurana, with Apoorv Singh Karki directing.
On October 9, Udta Teer brings Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan together. Bokshi also releases the same day.
October 16 has two big releases. Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam stars Rajkummar Rao in the story of the public prosecutor known for high-profile criminal cases. Nayyi Navelli stars Yami Gautam in a comedy-drama.
Main Na Raha Mera, a romantic musical starring Adhyayan Suman and Divita Rai, arrives on October 23.
The month also has strong regional and Hollywood competition. Jailer 2 with Rajinikanth releases on October 15, and Dhoom 4 is slated for October 31. Trade watchers say the Gandhi Jayanti long weekend should give the October 2 releases a strong opening.
