White House: every Democrat voted against Trump tax cuts

The White House announced on Friday that every Democratic member of Congress voted against President Donald Trump’s tax-cut package.
The official White House account posted on X that every single Democrat voted against President Trump’s historic tax cuts that put Americans first. The statement framed the vote as a clean partisan divide on the economy.
The administration says the Working Families Tax Cuts are delivering record benefits. It cites average tax refunds of more than 3,400 dollars, up nearly 11 per cent, and says nearly 20 million taxpayers claimed the No Tax on Overtime provision.
More than 4.6 million taxpayers benefited from No Tax on Tips, according to the White House. Nearly 12 million small business owners saw an average tax reduction of nearly 7,000 dollars.
Democratic critics have long argued that supply-side tax cuts mainly benefit corporations and high earners. The White House called that framing a contest it intends to fight heading into the political calendar.
