AgiBot delivers its 20,000th robot to Chinese theme park

Chinese humanoid robotics company AgiBot has delivered its 20,000th robot, marking a major manufacturing milestone for the Shanghai-based firm.
The landmark machine, an Expedition A3 Ultra, was delivered to Chimelong Group on September 24 at the Chimelong Spaceship Park in Zhuhai. The 20,000th robot goes straight into service rather than a laboratory.
The delivery coincided with the launch of one of the world’s largest real-world humanoid deployments: more than 300 AgiBot robots are now operating across the theme park in entertainment, education, visitor services, hotel operations and sports competitions.
According to the company, the robots perform martial arts, gymnastics and table tennis exhibitions, answer visitor questions, lead guided tours, greet hotel guests and hold multi-turn conversations.
The milestone underlines the speed of China’s humanoid robotics buildout. AgiBot has roughly doubled its output in about six months, and the company has opened a joint research institute with Chimelong focused on embodied AI in tourism venues.
