ICC World Cup 2027 Schedule Out: India vs Pakistan on October 10
The International Cricket Council has released the full schedule for the 2027 Men's Cricket World Cup, which will run from October 2 to November 21, 2027.
The tournament will be hosted across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. It will feature 14 teams and 57 matches under a new format that includes a Super Series stage and a Super 7 round.
The marquee clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for October 10 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
The two semifinals will be played on November 17 in Cape Town and November 18 in Tshwane. The final will take place on November 21 in Johannesburg.
The ICC has also opened the ticket ballot for fans. The 2027 edition will be the first World Cup hosted in southern Africa since 2003, and organisers expect record crowds across the three host nations.
Cricket boards have welcomed the new format, saying the Super Series and Super 7 stages will keep more teams in contention for longer. With matches spread across three countries, fans are advised to plan travel early as demand for the India-Pakistan clash is expected to be enormous.
