Adroit Industries Lists at 86.57% Premium After 177x IPO

Auto components maker Adroit Industries (India) made a stellar stock market debut on September 30, listing at Rs 250 on the BSE — an 86.57 per cent premium over its issue price of Rs 134 — and Rs 235 on the NSE, up 75.37 per cent.
The Rs 150.71-crore IPO was subscribed 176.85 times, reflecting strong investor appetite for the small-cap auto ancillary. The price band for the issue was Rs 126 to Rs 134 per share.
The blockbuster listing valued the company at around Rs 1,120 crore, making it one of the standout SME listings of the year.
Analysts said the debut reflected both the broader momentum in the auto components space and the scarcity premium for well-placed SME issues.
Investors who received allotments saw their holdings nearly double on listing day, capping a remarkable response to the public issue.
The strong debut also highlights the continued retail frenzy for SME public issues, even as regulators have flagged the risks of excessive speculation in the segment.
