India swept all three compound archery team golds on September 30, plus a shooting title, in the country's most successful single day of the Asian Games so far. The women's team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Chikitha Taniparthi and Prithika Pradeep beat China 238-234, equalling the world record. The mixed team of Chikitha and Sahil Rajesh Jadhav then beat Korea in a dramatic shoot-off, 10-9, after a 157-157 tie, also booking an Olympic quota for Los Angeles 2028. The men's team of Sahil Jadhav, Ganesh Mani Ratnam Thirumuru and Kushal Dalal completed the sweep with a 238-237 comeback win over China, recovering from 118-120 down at the halfway stage. In shooting, Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai won the trap mixed team event with 34 points. The four golds took India's tally to ten gold medals. Compound archery's day of dominance also underlined the programme's depth: India medalled across men's, women's and mixed events within hours of each other.
