Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has inaugurated a new BharatBenz 3S facility in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, in partnership with PPS Trucking.

The facility, inaugurated on September 30, is located at Kasarol Village in Sahjanwa within the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority area, along NH 27. The highway connects Lucknow, Ayodhya and Gorakhpur and carries freight traffic to Bihar, the Northeast and Nepal.

Spread over 75,000 sq ft, the facility has 11 bays, including nine service bays and two accident repair bays, with an annual servicing capacity of up to 4,100 vehicles. It is equipped with advanced diagnostic systems, modern workshop tools and an inventory of genuine BharatBenz spare parts.

The workshop will be run by 48 trained and certified technicians and will offer preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, on-site support and express service for BharatBenz trucks and buses. It also provides 24×7 roadside assistance through mobile service vans, along with a washing bay, wheel-alignment facility and rest areas for drivers and fleet operators.

The company said the location will serve fleets operating across eastern Uttar Pradesh’s freight, construction and industrial transport corridors.
