Muthoot FinCorp is BCCI’s new title sponsor in Rs 150 cr deal

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has named Muthoot FinCorp as the title sponsor for India’s home international matches in a deal reportedly worth up to Rs 150 crore, running through March 2028.

The Kerala-based non-banking financial company replaces IDFC First Bank, whose title sponsorship ended in August 2026. Reports peg the per-match payout at about Rs 4.3 crore, below the BCCI’s base price of Rs 4.85 crore per match.

The agreement is expected to cover around 35 home internationals across two seasons, comprising 10 Tests, 12 ODIs and 13 T20Is. It also extends to domestic tournaments including the Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup, Duleep Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, besides India’s senior, A and under-19 teams.

The deal follows a BCCI tender that drew no bidders, after which the board entered direct negotiations with the company. Muthoot FinCorp’s branding debuted with the three-match ODI series against the West Indies starting September 27 in Thiruvananthapuram.

BCCI president Mithun Manhas welcomed the association. Campa, SBI Life and ChatGPT have also joined as associate partners.
