Indian shares seen rising as oil cools, BSE joins Nifty

Indian shares are likely to open higher on Tuesday, tracking gains in Asian markets as crude oil prices cooled from recent highs.
The GIFT Nifty pointed to a firm start for the benchmarks. Investors took comfort from easing energy costs, which reduce inflation risks for the import-dependent economy and support corporate margins.
BSE Ltd will be in focus as it formally joins the Nifty 50 today, replacing Wipro. Passive funds tracking the index are expected to buy the stock as part of their scheduled rebalancing.
Market breadth has been healthy, with mid-cap and small-cap indices outperforming in recent sessions. Foreign investors have turned net buyers this month after a prolonged selling phase.
Analysts say the near-term outlook remains constructive, though global cues will drive direction. Key triggers include US inflation data, the trajectory of crude prices and the Reserve Bank of India’s upcoming policy review, all of which will shape sentiment.
