Nani’s action drama The Paradise has crossed Rs 200 crore at the worldwide box office within six days of release, trade trackers reported on Tuesday. The Srikanth Odela directorial released on September 24 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

According to trade estimates, the film collected around Rs 5.15 crore on day six, taking its cumulative worldwide gross past the Rs 200-crore mark. The Hindi version has contributed a smaller share, with day-wise trackers pegging its total near Rs 5 crore.

Set in 1980s Secunderabad, the film follows a marginalised tribe’s fight for citizenship under an unexpected leader. Nani has called it the most physically and emotionally demanding film of his 18-year career.

The film co-stars Kayadu Lohar and Raghav Juyal and has recorded strong overseas numbers, with North America contributing a significant share. Trade analysts say the coming weekdays will test its hold before the next wave of releases.

Trade analysts noted that the film’s strong weekday hold will be crucial, as several new releases are lined up for the coming weekend across languages.
