Candidates who appeared for NEET PG 2026 are demanding that the National Board of Examinations release the answer key along with the question paper, citing alleged discrepancies between their expected and actual scores. A doctors’ body has raised concerns over evaluation transparency and exam security, with some candidates claiming differences of up to 100 marks.

The aspirants argue that without the answer key and response sheets, they have no way to verify their results or challenge errors in the marking process. They have pointed to Supreme Court orders in the past directing greater transparency in national-level examinations.

The NBEMS has maintained that its evaluation process follows established norms, but the growing chorus of complaints has intensified pressure for reform. Medical Dialogues reported that the demand mirrors similar controversies in previous years. With the Medical Counselling Committee counselling rounds ahead, any delay or legal challenge could affect thousands of postgraduate medical aspirants. Candidates have urged the board to publish the keys before the next round of counselling begins.
