Landmark Cars jumps 12% on new BYD, Mahindra outlets

Shares of Landmark Cars surged about 12 per cent on Tuesday, September 29, touching a one-month high after the dealership group expanded its footprint with new BYD and Mahindra outlets. The stock climbed 12.37 per cent intraday, with reports pegging the price around Rs 535.80.
The rally followed the addition of a BYD store in Noida and a Mahindra outlet in Kolkata, strengthening the company’s presence in two key markets. Investors cheered the expansion, which adds premium electric and SUV brands to Landmark’s portfolio at a time of strong demand for new-energy vehicles.
The move extends a positive run for the auto retail stock, which has been gaining favour as dealership networks consolidate. Market watchers will now track how the new outlets contribute to sales in the coming quarters. Rising demand for premium and electric vehicles has lifted auto retail stocks, and Landmark’s expanding network positions it to capture festive-season buying.
