HCLSoftware is set to acquire Robotiq.ai, a Zagreb-based platform that automates business tasks, for an all-cash enterprise value of €9 million, or about ₹98 crore.

HCL Technologies Austria GmbH will buy 100 per cent of the company. The deal is expected to close by the end of November 2026.

Robotiq.ai makes enterprise robotic process automation software used by banks, insurance firms and telecom companies. The firm’s revenue stood at €1.4 million in 2025, up from €0.9 million in both 2024 and 2023.

The buy strengthens HCLSoftware’s position in agentic automation, a fast-growing part of the software market where AI agents handle routine work across company systems.

HCLTech has been buying small, specialised technology firms to grow its software business, which sells products directly to companies instead of only offering services.

The acquisition is small in value but fits the company’s plan to build products that help businesses automate work with artificial intelligence.
