Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday launched the Delhi Udyog Mitra portal, a single-window digital platform for obtaining business licences, clearances and no-objection certificates (NOCs), as part of the government’s ease-of-doing-business push.

More than 15 departments and 50 services are already on the platform. The government plans to expand it to 21 departments and over 100 services by next month, benefiting Delhi’s eight lakh-plus traders and entrepreneurs.

The portal offers a “Know Your Approvals” feature, single sign-on, end-to-end application tracking and an integrated grievance-redressal system, so businesses no longer need to visit multiple offices for permissions.

It has also been linked with the National Single Window System, allowing investors to seek both central and state approvals through one digital interface.

Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said the paperless system would deliver seamless services with complete transparency, strengthening trust between businesses and the government.
