Megaport wins $687 million in AI contracts
Australia’s Megaport has signed three AI infrastructure contracts worth a combined A$978.6 million, about US$687 million. The deals were announced on 29 September.
The customers are two US-based technology providers and one listed enterprise, all unnamed. The contracts cover GPU and CPU compute, networking and storage for AI workloads and inference.
Megaport expects the deals to generate about A$232.4 million in annual recurring revenue by the fourth quarter of FY27. The contracts include A$322.6 million in prepayments.
The company raised its FY27 guidance on the news. Group revenue is now expected at A$720-810 million, up from A$620-730 million, with EBITDA margin of 42-44%.
The deals follow A$458.9 million of contracts signed in early June. Total strategic contracts signed since April 2026 now stand at A$2.3 billion. Megaport runs a global network connecting data centres and cloud providers. The AI contracts mark its biggest push yet into the artificial intelligence boom.
