The Indianapolis Colts beat the Houston Texans 19-17 on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium, winning on a 53-yard field goal by Spencer Shrader with 16 seconds remaining. It was a Week 3 thriller, according to Reuters.

The win snapped a nine-game overall losing streak for the Colts dating back to last season. It was also their first win over the Texans in six matchups, ending a five-game divisional skid.

Shrader was the hero despite hurting his groin in pregame warmups. He was listed questionable and punter Rigoberto Sanchez handled the opening kickoff. Shrader still made all four of his field goals — from 39, 58, 37 and 53 yards — with the 58-yarder matching his career best.

Daniel Jones was 24-of-36 for 235 yards with one touchdown, a 10-yarder to Keenan Allen, plus one interception and two lost fumbles. Houston took a 17-16 lead with 1:48 left on Woody Marks' 1-yard TD run, but the Colts drove back for the winner. C.J. Stroud was 16-of-27 for 167 yards and one touchdown.

Houston now faces an uphill climb: three straight losses despite forcing three Colts turnovers. The Colts move to 1-2 while the Texans fell to 0-3.
