Vivo X Fold 6 India launch tipped for October 6; two colours likely
Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims the Vivo X Fold 6 will launch in India on October 6 at noon, five days after its tipped October 1 global debut.
According to the leak, reported by GSMArena and Gadgets360, India will get 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage options. The foldable is tipped in Prism Black and Nebula Teal colours.
Vivo has not officially confirmed the dates. The company launched the X Fold 6 in China in June, starting at CNY 7,999, roughly Rs 1.05 lakh, and confirmed a global launch for select markets.
The China model has an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED screen, a 6.51-inch cover screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chip, a 200MP Zeiss-tuned main camera and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Why it matters: a timely India launch would pit Vivo's book-style foldable against Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series ahead of the festive shopping season.
