India Asks Nationals in Saudi Arabia to Stay Alert

The Embassy of India in Riyadh has advised all Indian nationals in Saudi Arabia to remain alert and vigilant amid ongoing attacks on civilian infrastructure.
In an advisory issued on Thursday, the embassy urged Indians to stay indoors as necessary and follow instructions from local authorities through official channels.
It also strongly advised against circulating or reposting videos or news related to the ongoing events, to prevent the spread of unverified information.
The embassy said its mission in Riyadh and the consulate in Jeddah continue to operate normally, and flagged its 24×7 helpline at 8002471234.
Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs condemned the Houthi attacks on Abha and King Khalid international airports, calling the targeting of civilian infrastructure "completely unacceptable".
The MEA offered condolences to the families of those killed and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Air India and Lufthansa have cancelled flights to and from Riyadh until October 10 and October 16 respectively, reports said.
