Zelenskyy Accuses US of Inaction After Russian Bomb Kills 35

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused the United States of being unwilling to help Ukraine after a Russian bomb attack killed 35 people in the east on Thursday.
The bomb tore through two buses in the embattled city of Kramatorsk. A later drone attack killed two more people, taking the city’s toll to 35.
Zelenskyy said 78 people were killed and 215 wounded by Russian strikes across Ukraine in two days. The day before, a mass drone and missile assault killed dozens, including 22 people in a residential building in Pryluky.
The Ukrainian leader criticized Washington for pursuing economic ties with Russia while also seeking to mediate the four-year war. He urged the US to open up Starlink satellite access for Ukraine.
‘Open Starlink for Ukraine. You did open it when you were responding to Iran,’ he said. He argued it would help Ukraine target Russian ballistic-missile launchers.
He was responding to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who had called the war a ‘stalemate’. UN human rights chief Volker Turk said he was ‘appalled’ by the attacks on civilians.
