Amazon’s Great Indian Festival 2026 sale began on October 8 for all shoppers, with Prime members getting 24-hour early access from October 7.
The festive sale offers discounts of up to 80% across smartphones, electronics, appliances and fashion. SBI credit and debit card users get a 10% instant discount on eligible purchases, while Prime members can get up to 10% extra savings.
No-cost EMI up to 24 months and exchange bonuses of up to Rs 10,000 are also available. Amazon’s deal preview lists the Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G at Rs 14,999, the Galaxy M47 5G at Rs 30,999 and the Galaxy Z Fold8 5G at Rs 1,79,999.
The sale runs through the festive season, with phases including Blockbuster Deals and a Grand Finale. Rival Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale began on October 9, setting up a direct contest for festive shoppers.
The festive season is the biggest shopping period in India, with e-commerce companies clocking a large share of annual sales in October and November. Analysts expect record gross merchandise value this year on the back of strong consumer demand.
