Apple may hold second fall event with 8 new Macs and iPads

Apple could hold a second fall event in October or November to unveil as many as eight new products, according to reports.
The expected lineup includes an iPad mini with an OLED display, M6-powered iMac and 14-inch MacBook Pro, a redesigned touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro, a new Apple TV 4K, a HomePad smart home hub and a second-generation HomePod mini.
In years when Apple holds a second autumn event, it has typically focused on Macs and iPads. The company has already launched the iPhone 18 lineup and the foldable iPhone Duo this year.
On the software side, iOS 27.1 and iOS 27.2 are expected in October, with the latter bringing an expanded Siri AI to more languages.
Apple has not confirmed any event, and the company often announces some products through press releases instead of a full event.
Apple’s October events have historically focused on the Mac lineup, including the launches of Apple Silicon chips in recent years. If the rumors hold, this year’s event could be one of the company’s biggest hardware showcases.
