MP’s Rs 90,000 Crore Mumbai Roadshow: What the Numbers Mean

Madhya Pradesh secured investment proposals worth Rs 90,000 crore at its Mumbai roadshow on October 8. Here is what the numbers mean.
The proposals span renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, IT and data centres. ACME Global alone plans to invest Rs 47,000 crore, more than half the total.
The state expects about 14,375 jobs from these proposals. That is roughly one job for every Rs 6.3 crore of proposed investment.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said the state had received Rs 34 lakh crore in proposals at its Global Investors Summit, with more than 30 per cent already implemented on the ground.
The Mumbai session is a prelude to the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit in January 2027. The state is competing with Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu for manufacturing investment.
Proposals are commitments, not completed investments. Implementation will depend on land allocation, clearances and market conditions in the coming months. The state says it has already implemented more than 30 per cent of its earlier summit commitments.
