MSRTC Launches Dadar to Navi Mumbai Airport Bus via Atal Setu

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation has launched electric bus services connecting the Navi Mumbai International Airport with Dadar, Borivali and Pune.
Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik inaugurated the Dadar service on October 8. The buses run via Sion and the Atal Setu, giving central Mumbai a direct link to the airport.
Fares are set at Rs 170 for Dadar East, Rs 210 for Borivali and Rs 450 for Pune. Children below 12 and women travelling with a National Common Mobility Card get a 50 per cent discount.
The e-Shivai electric buses started operations from October 7. Sarnaik said the initiative brings the airport into the state’s broader public transport network and will benefit both air travellers and daily commuters.
MSRTC plans to extend the services to Thane and Nashik by mid-November. Private operator Chalo Bus already runs 21 daily services from the airport to Marol, Bandra, Dadar and Colaba. Officials said the electric buses will help passengers avoid expensive cab fares while cutting emissions on the busy airport corridor.
